The reimagining of the Pyramid Grocery in Pittsburgh provokes questions around food, access, and community. By transforming where and how people gets their food, we explore the impact of food deserts on a community’s livelihood. Join us as we re-brand and reclaim one of the Pittsburgh’s cornerstones. Thanks to the vision of Chloe Floyd, Katina Benenate, Lamont Rudolph, and Alison Hamil the grocery store has a new design to match it’s focus on access to fruits and vegetables. Decorative murals outside from Kimberly Binns with Tracy Murrell, Charmaine Minniefield, and Fabian Williams.

The award-winning Atlanta podcast Bottom of the Map hosts a special 3-part series on the theme of Cultural Capital. This special edition will feature a range of guests from city visionaries like Ryan Gravel, to hip hop luminaries such as stylist and curator Renaldo Nehemiah. The 3rd episode will be recorded in front of a live audience and featuring a very special guest.
